Jeff Drouin received his BA in English from Providence College, magna cum laude, in 1998 and his MA, also in English, from the University of Virginia in 2000. The infectious spirit of the dot-com boom led him to several positions in online medical publishing and web design, eventually moving him to New York to work in information technology at About.com. Now in the English PhD program at the CUNY Graduate Center, he has fused these experiences with his doctoral work, completing the certificate program in Instructional Technology and Pedagogy before joining the Honors College as an Instructional Technology Fellow (ITF) at Brooklyn College.

After two years as the Central Technology Fellow, Jeff is now actively involved in developing and implementing the pedagogical vision of Macaulay as the Multimedia/Instructional Technology Associate.

He has presented his research on developments in the modernist novel and the relativity theories of Albert Einstein at conferences on James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, and textual scholarship. His interest in technology extends also to humanities scholarship in the form of the Ecclesiastical Proust Archive, an experimental resource for the study of narrative and hypermedia. Recently he has taught courses at Brooklyn College on modern drama and, at the graduate level, a survey of literary theory.
