Macaulay Honors College

The Macaulay Center

In 2006, Macaulay Honors College received a generous gift from William E. Macaulay, a 1966 Honors graduate of City College. Thanks to this gift, Macaulay Honors College in 2007 moved into a new home, the Steinhardt Building, a Gothic revival structure at 35 West 67th Street.

The Macaulay Building, fully renovated for Macaulay use, includes state-of-the-art classroom space, a lecture hall, student performance space, a fully-equipped screening room, seminar and meeting rooms, administrative offices, a cafe, and other common gathering spaces for students.

The Macaulay Building is two minutes from Lincoln Center and two minutes from Central Park, in the heart of Manhattan's cultural and artistic center. The welcoming, convenient space provides an elegant learning environment and a location for cross-campus community--truly a campus and a home in the center of NYC.
