Macaulay Honors College is CUNY's flagship program in honors education.

In 2001, we started with a concept: an unprecedented educational opportunity for high-achieving New York City students. With the support of a group of visionary donors, Macaulay Honors College has gone from an idea to national recognition as a beacon of excellence in public higher education.

Our success is alive in the stories of our students. Macaulay graduates are flourishing in the most challenging doctoral programs and professional schools, in research laboratories, hospitals and museums, in media and technology, and on Wall Street. They are the future leaders of New York City and the nation.
