About the Program
The Macaulay Honors College Alumni Mentoring Program offers alumni the opportunity to give back to the Macaulay community by sharing their experiences and expertise with current Macaulay Honors College students and helping them transition from Macaulay to graduate programs or professional careers. The Alumni Mentoring Program will strive to match alumni with current students who share similar interests or aspire to be in similar academic or professional fields. Mentors will:
- Give students recognition and encouragement;
- Provide advice on how to balance education, career, and extracurricular activities;
- Offer perspectives on long-term career planning and/or graduate school education;
- Share career, academic, cultural, and/or social interests.
