Baruch College
At Baruch College, University Scholars join the Baruch College Honors Program. Baruch College offers nationally ranked programs in arts and sciences, business, and public affairs. The Zicklin School of Business, lauded by US News & World Report, offers bachelor’s degrees in business (BBA) in 12 areas of specialization, including economics, finance, accountancy, management, marketing, statistics, and computer information systems. The Starr Career Development Center provides Wall Street Careers Program and Executive Student Partnership Mentoring Program.
The Weissman School of Arts and Sciences offers otustanding programs with the atmosphere of a small liberal arts college. BA programs include humanities, social sciences, quantitative and natural sciences, and communications, as well as unique programs linking the arts and sciences with business and public affairs. Cited by US News & World Report as one of the country’s best, the School of Public Affairs is a vibrant community dedicated to the study of public policy and management, including real estate and the nonprofit sector.
At Baruch, University Scholars enjoy outstanding facilities, including the Irving Weinstein Honors Lounge and the Honors Program Study Room. Scholars also benefit from Baruch’s award-winning 17-floor Vertical Campus, which serves as the campus hub. This 800,000-square-foot structure is the largest stand-alone educational facility in New York State, covering nearly an entire city block. It includes a three-level sports and recreation center, theater and recital space, a television studio, 30 computer labs, and hundreds of classrooms with multimedia instructional capability.
Also noteworthy is the Newman Library, one of the most beautiful and advanced libraries in Manhattan. It provides access to several hundred online databases and vast holdings in print and electronic formats.
