Welcome to the development page of Macaulay Honors College’s Digital Honors Code.
This project was initiated to elaborate on Macaulay’s Honors Code in order to attend to concerns about ethics in the virtual realm. This effort was inspired by incidents of interpersonal conflicts across campuses that were played out online. However, this project is primarily interested in thinking about the many opportunities and complications that emerge from the increasing integration of technology into our everyday lives and, in particular, our academic lives.
The draft materials on this site are derived from conversations with Macaulay students, faculty, staff, and Instructional Technology Fellows. Everything here is to be considered in development, so we particularly welcome comments and input as we move forward with this process.
