White House Internship: Spring 2012

The White House Internship Program provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable professional experience and build leadership skills.

This hands-on program is designed to mentor and cultivate today’s young leaders, strengthen their understanding of the Executive Office and prepare them for future public service opportunities.  

Interns have the opportunity to work in one of several White House departments, including the Office of Cabinet Affairs, the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, Office of the White House Counsel, the Communications Department, the Office of the First Lady, and the Office of the Vice President. The positions are unpaid and full-time, running from January 17 to May 4, 2012. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program OR graduated in the past two years from an undergraduate or graduate program.

Applicants have until September 11, 2011 to apply for Spring 2012.
