Volunteer for the New York City Science and Engineering Fair
In collaboration with the New York City Department of Education, the City University of New York (CUNY) will be organizing the New York City Science and Engineering Fair (NYCSEF), the city’s largest research competition for high school students. Approximately 500 high school students from throughout the five boroughs will be presenting their research to a panel of judges and competing for a variety of prizes.
Each year a large group of Macaulay Honors students volunteer their time to help manage the NYCSEF competition. We need people to help in several areas of our program, such as registration, crowd control, directing traffic, project checks, etc. Breakfast and/or lunch vouchers will be provided for all volunteers, and we have some thank you goodies for you as well.
