Citizen Schools National Teaching Fellowship–Deadline April 27
The Fellowship is a two year leadership and professional development opportunity to serve in a high need, low income middle school in NYC while developing essential skills for a successful career.
Teaching Fellows teach in the expanded day, work to support the Citizen Schools program, and engage deeply in the communities served. Teaching Fellows are connectors for the students - communicating with families, first shift teachers, administrators, volunteers, and peers - all to inspire kids to make the connection between education and future opportunities.
Fellows receive a monthly stipend, full health coverage, subsidized dental coverage, two education awards amounting to $11,100 upon successfully completing each of two years of service, loan forbearance and interest repayment for qualified student loans, and more.
The deadline is April 27.
