When is Convocation?

Macaulay Honors College Class of 2010 Convocation will take place on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center (10 Lincoln Center Plaza).

How do I find more information about Convocation?

A convocation packet, which will include everything you need to know, will be available at your campus Macaulay office on Friday, March 5, 2010. Don’t delay in picking up your packet; you must return the RSVP/Cap & Gown form included in the packet by Friday, March 19.

What is the schedule on the day of Convocation?

3:00 pm Arrive to pick up cap and gown

4:15 pm Gather for procession

4:30 9m Procession

5:00-7:00 pm Convocation ceremony

7:00 pm Reception

Do I need to RSVP?

Yes; return your RSVP/Cap & Gown form (found in the Convocation packet) to your campus Macaulay office by Friday, March 19, 2010.

How do I order a cap and gown?

Fill out the RSVP/Cap & Gown form and return them to your campus Macaulay Office by Friday, March 19.

How many tickets will be allotted for each graduate?

Each student will be given three guest tickets.

Where & When can I get my tickets?

Tickets will be available at your campus Macaulay office starting Monday, May 3, 2010.

What time should I arrive at Macaulay Honors College on Convocation Day?

Arrive by 3:00 pm to pick up your cap, gown and stole.

When are my forms due?

Return the RSVP/Cap & Gown form to your campus Macaulay office by Friday, March 19.

What can I give my parent/guardian?

Included in the Convocation packet is a stapled packet for your parent/guardian. Give it to them! It includes directions, a schedule and a list of things to know about the event.

Can I bring a backpack or large bag with me to the ceremony?

Only bring belongings that fit in your pocket or a small handbag.

What do I do if I need to speak with someone on the day of Convocation?
