I also think that the purpose of the show was to present a theme only through the medium of dance, but maybe they were not too successful in accomplishing this. Perhaps there WAS a plot, just one that was obscure and not apparent. That's not to say I understood what was going on. You bring up a nice point about the differences between solo dances and group presentations.
