Maisha Lopa is a student at the Macaulay Honors College at the City University of New York-Hunter College. She is majoring in International Affairs with a focus on Economic Development. Her has professional experience in both international and domestic economic development policy. Although she has spent the majority of her undergraduate career negotiating the Rights of Indigenous Women at the United Nations and championing Minority and Women led Business Enterprises in New York City Council, she ultimately wants to contribute and bring attention to causes that make the world more equitable.
Maisha is an avid soccer and tennis fan and frequently tweets about her favorite English football team, Liverpool FC.
