Necrophilic Imagination: An Inquiry into the Process of Cultural Historicization

Welcome to my senior thesis eportfolio! Through a combination of critial writing and creative work, my project aims to explore the social significance of the urban geography, visual and spatial peculiarities, cultural associations, and artistic programme of Jazz at Lincoln Center and its performances spaces, located in the Time Warner Center. I am interested in how these spaces construct and employ cultural narrative, lifestyle, and social hierarchy.
