The Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans recognizes the contributions of immigrants or children of immigrants by awarding college seniors or students who are at the beginning of their graduate studies up to $90,000 to pursue an advanced degree at a U.S. institution. The 2015 competition is now open, with the application due November 1st. Selection criteria emphasize creativity, originality and initiative, but financial need is not a factor.
