The Greener Apple is a New York City sustainability project of Professor Alexandratos’ Macaulay Honors College Seminar 3 Course – Science and Technology in New York City. This blog was designed to address environmental science, ethics, policy and justice issues in New York City. In doing so, we plan to evaluate Mayor Bloomberg’s PlaNYC and the policies and legislation that it entails.

Cindy Cheng – a Sophomore in the Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter, Cindy double majors in Psychology and Creative Writing, with an Economics minor. Cindy enjoys swimming, yoga, Pilates, writing and forensic shows.
