Dear Macaulay Community,

With deep sadness, we share the tragic news that a member of our community, Andrew Krinick, Macaulay Honors College Class of 2017, died today. We know that you all join us in mourning the untimely loss of a beloved classmate.

Andrew was a talented actor, community organizer, and a student leader. In his short time at Hunter College, Andrew had a starring role in "Our Town" and put together a fundraiser in support of Alzheimer's research as a part of the "Hilarity for Charity" movement.

There are counselors right now at the Brookdale campus if you would like to speak with someone about Andrew's death.

We will update you as soon as we have any further information regarding a funeral or memorial service, as well as information on how to share your condolences with his family. At the appropriate time, we will reach out to the community to discuss the appropriate way to remember and celebrate Andrew at Hunter College and Macaulay.
