Woody Allen once said, “I’m astounded by people who want to ‘know’ the universe when it’s hard enough to find your way around Chinatown”.
From a foreign perspective, Chinatown is just one of New York City’s many tourist attractions consisting of: Lower East Side tenement housing, restaurants filled with dumplings and ducks, crowded garment sweatshops, fresh grocery markets, cheap Canal Street shops, and a multitude of small businesses.
