During the 2018-2019 academic year we will continue to develop a Strategic Plan for Macaulay Honors College that will chart our course into the future. The strategic planning process will build and expand upon our existing goals and align with CUNY’s strategic framework where appropriate.
The strategic planning process is an opportunity for us to think about Macaulay’s mission, its role in the world and our values and priorities. It is intended to be an inclusive process where all stakeholders – Macaulay Honors College faculty, students, staff, alumni, Macaulay Foundation Board, Macaulay Advisory Board, and supporters – can access up-to-date information about the process and have opportunities to provide input based on their unique relationships to the college.
Engaging the Macaulay community is an essential element of the planning process. To facilitate this, we have developed this website to document the planning process and provide mechanisms for ongoing community input. Please visit the website regularly for information about ways to be involved.
Dean Pearl has convened a Steering Committee to guide the strategic planning process. The Steering Committee will elicit input from stakeholders, aggregate and synthesize data collected throughout the planning process, and shape the outcomes into plans for the college.
The Steering Committee’s efforts will include:
