During the 2017-2018 academic year we will develop a Strategic Plan for Macaulay Honors College that will chart our course into the future. The strategic planning process will build and expand upon our existing goals and align with CUNY’s strategic framework where appropriate.
The strategic planning process is an opportunity for us to think about Macaulay’s mission, its role in the world and our values and priorities. It is intended to be an inclusive process where all stakeholders – Macaulay Honors College faculty, students, staff, alumni, Macaulay Foundation Board, Macaulay Advisory Board, and supporters – can access up-to-date information about the process and have opportunities to provide input based on their unique relationships to the college.
Engaging the Macaulay community is an essential element of the planning process. To facilitate this, we have developed this website to document the planning process and provide mechanisms for ongoing community input. Please visit the website regularly for information about ways to be involved.
Below are Macaulay’s mission and vision statements. What do you think? Do they aptly reflect our institution? If you could edit them what would you want them to say? You may want to think about what the college is doing, why we are doing it, what we do well and what we might want to do.
Macaulay Honors College offers exceptional students the transformative opportunities to develop their potential beyond what they ever imagine.
Macaulay Honors College inspires and prepares students to solve the challenges facing New York City, our nation, and the global community.
