Incoming Macaulay students have received brand new laptops, funded by New York State, since the College first opened its doors in 2001. Last year, due to state budget cuts, Macaulay was tasked, for the first time ever, with raising private monies to pay for these computers. The same is true this year for the Class of 2025.
These laptops are not just essential tools for learning—they also serve as vital lifelines for students and their families. We are grateful to everyone who has already contributed to this year’s Laptop Campaign. Below are just a few examples of the difference donors have made in the education—and lives—of our honors scholars.
For so many of our students, getting their own laptop has been a real game changer. To ensure that Macaulay can cover these costs for the Class of 2025, please take advantage of Jack Aini’s P’19, ’25 generous offer and make your gift today!
