Community Service Weekend 2022

  • March 12, 2022 - March 13, 2022
    9:00 am - 5:00 pm

We are so excited about Macaulay Community Service Weekend! It is a weekend where Macaulay students give back to the community and engage in the amazing work of non-profits around NYC. Join us to volunteer with fellow peers from across our 8 campuses and meet new students in Macaulay! We have made the event as accessible as possible by having at least one project in each borough of NYC.

  • By typing my full name below, I acknowledge that my participation in an in-person off-campus student organization event is voluntary and that will involve risks and hazards not found in the virtual student community, which is the current primary mode for student organization events at the Macaulay Honors College. In ordinary times, the risks of such events can range from a) minor injuries and illness such as bruises, and strains, to b) major injuries and illness such as broken limbs, loss of sight, neck or back injuries, heart attacks, and concussions, to c) catastrophic injuries, including paralysis and death.   The ordinary risks also include damage to or theft of personal property, and risks involved in traveling to, within and from, event sites. I understand that COVID-19 presents unique health risks, especially to those with underlying conditions, and that there may be other risks not known or reasonably foreseeable. I have sought and obtained any information and advice that I feel are necessary and appropriate. I VOLUNTARILY ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS IN PARTICIPATING IN STUDENT ACTIVITIES and my participation in off-campus events with a student organization.
