Join us for our Professional Lunch Series with Dr. Enoma Omoregie, Associate Director of Environmental Sciences at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to learn more about their career trajectory and professional experience!

About Enoma Omoregie
Dr. Enoma Omoregie is an environmental microbiologist and the Associate Director of Environmental Sciences at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Public Health Laboratory. He oversees the laboratory’s foodborne, waterborne and vector borne disease surveillance programs.  Prior to joining the Public Health Laboratory, Dr. Omoregie served as the Technical Director for Microbiology and Assistant Laboratory Director for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, Distribution Water Quality Operations Laboratory; and a Marie Curie Fellow at the Center for Astrobiology, and the University of Manchester. Dr. Omoregie received a B.S. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a M.S. in Marine Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Ph.D. in marine microbiology from a joint program with the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology and Jacobs University
