During this 1 hour session, you will eat and drink while learning from a variety of professionals, some Macaulay Honors College alums and others throughout different industries. Each speaker, brings a new perspective and set of tools to provide advice on the best strategies to follow your path and meet your career goals. They will share stories from their undergraduate experience to their present-day role. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions in this informal discussion.

Healthcare Career Diversity: Featuring Anita Kishore at Upper West Strategies

Anita Kishore has advised hundreds of students to find their dream jobs.  She is a career coach and consultant, specializing in healthcare, consulting, and nonprofit careers.  Anita coaches MBA students with Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), serving high-potential underrepresented minorities.  Prior to her career as a coach, Anita worked in positions of increasing seniority in the healthcare industry.  Anita followed her passion to increase access to affordable medicines for patients around the world by serving clients in both the private and public sectors. Anita’s interest in healthcare led her to work at Bain & Company, Sandoz (a Division of Novartis), and Pfizer, in strategy and operations in the US and internationally.  Anita’s work in nonprofit access to health includes Doctors Without Borders and the Clinton Health Access Initiative, leading global vaccines supply chain logistics.  She also runs New York City’s first-ever internship program in the Life Sciences and is excited to develop a pipeline of home-grown talent in New York City.
Anita holds a BS in chemistry from Yale University, an MSc (with Honors) in chemistry from the University of Melbourne (supported by a Rotary scholarship), PhD in chemistry from the University of Georgia, and an MPA from the Robert Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.
