Join us for our Professional Lunch Series: Tech with Daniel Obeng, a Software Engineer at Givewith, to learn more about his career trajectory and personal experience!
Daniel is a full-stack software engineer at Givewith. His passion is software development, and he enjoys using my skills to solve problems that matter at Givewith. He is also a Macaulay Honors at City College of New York alum, graduating in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
In his junior year at Macaulay, he started working part-time at CBS Corporation as an IT Support Technician. It soon transitioned from basic troubleshooting to writing software for the IT department to automate some of the work they needed to do, marking the beginning of his career in software development. After graduation, he accepted a full-time position at Givewith as a software engineer where he strives to improve on our world-class platform which empowers brands to make a positive impact on environmental and social issues through their everyday transactions.
When he is not deep in some random tech pursuit, you’ll either find Daniel working to improve his guitar skills, doing an occasional sketch, or even perhaps learning new tricks on his skateboard.
This is an event taking place virtually. Details will be sent to you after registration.
