Macaulay is the official host of The New York City Nature Challenge, a campaign to bring together nature lovers of all ages to record examples of urban wildlife with smartphones.
At Randall’s Island Park, visitors can explore a remarkable variety of natural areas including freshwater wetlands, a tidal marsh, an urban forest, and nearly five miles of coastal upland habitat.
Students from the Macaulay Sustainability Initiative will be on hand to say hello and answer questions about City Nature Challenge.
