Unsure of what steps to take to move forward in your career? Join us for a Career Strategy Session facilitated by Ann Kirschner!

In this session, you will uncover (or rediscover) the career that you were meant to have, and will be guided on how to obtain it! There is no judgement, only encouragement, and a laser focus to direct you towards your ultimate dream position!

 

Note: This quick, effective session will last about 20 minutes. 3 different students will be met with 1:1 during the one hour time frame. Slots are available on a first come, first served basis.

 

About The Facilitator:

Ann Kirschner is President of Comma International and University Professor at The City University of New York. An entrepreneur and strategic advisor, she is the author of Sala’s Gift: My Mother’s Holocaust Story and Lady at the OK Corral: The True Story of Josephine Marcus Earp, and a contributor to Forbes on innovation and education. At the CUNY Graduate Center, she teaches and writes about the impact of technology, demographics, and globalization on the future of work and higher education.

Her experience spans a wide range of organizations and business models. She is a veteran of four start-ups in cable, satellite, and online. As the first digital strategist for the National Football League, she launched NFL.COM and SUPERBOWL.COM. A pioneer in e-learning, she founded FATHOM with Columbia University, London School of Economics, and other leading institutions. She was the Dean of Macaulay Honors College at CUNY and Strategic Advisor to the Chancellor. She was founding director of the Women in Technology and Entrepreneurship (WiTNY) initiative at CUNY and Cornell Tech, an initiative to increase the participation of women in computer science.

Ann Kirschner is a board member at The Movado Group (MOV), Noodle Partners, and Strategic Cyber Ventures. She also serves on the board of the Paul and Daisy Soros Foundation, and NYC FIRST. She co-chairs the board of Footsteps, the Leadership Council of the Princeton University Graduate School, and is on the executive management committee of Arizona State University’s EdPlus and Learning Enterprise and is a Senior Advisor to the Office of the President. She is a member of the national advisory board of Break Through Tech and WorldQuant University.

She is a graduate of University of Buffalo, University of Virginia, and received her PhD from Princeton University, where she was Whiting Fellow in the Humanities and served as trustee from 2017-2021.
