Chris Dennis

Chris Dennis is Vice President for Finance and Administration at Macaulay Honors College of the City University of New York (CUNY).

Chris moved from California to join Macaulay Honors College. He has over 20 years’ experience in leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and in improving decision-making by developing cases for action from financial, operational, and strategic perspectives. He has been Director of Finance at a number of companies, from large ones like Walmart, where he was director of financial planning and analysis for their e-commerce arm, to little start-ups like Annie’s Organic Food, where he managed the team that provided support for taking the company public.

Chris was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where his goal as a small pond fish culture extension agent was to introduce a new source of protein into the local economy.

Chris Dennis earned his bachelor’s degree in history from University of California at Irvine, studied abroad in France, and earned an MBA in finance and marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
