Julie Fuller is a PhD Candidate in English at the CUNY Graduate Center. Her dissertation on the Sportswoman and athleticized female bodies in Victorian literature and culture examines issues of gender, embodiment, identity, and power. She has completed a certificate in Interactive Technology and Pedagogy. Beyond Victorian sports and physical education, her research interests include theory of the novel, non-canonical women writers, and digital scholarship. Before becoming an ITF, she taught writing and literature at Hunter College and served as a Writing Across the Curriculum Fellow at Baruch and York College. She earned her BA at Virginia Commonwealth University and her MA at the University of Virginia.
