Siena Vaccara is a Mental Health and Psychological Counseling Ed.M, M.A candidate at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is also in Columbia’s Sexuality, Women and Gender Advanced Certificate program and is currently pursuing Doula certification through Dona International. Siena holds a Bachelors in Psychology and Gender Studies with a minor in music from Purchase College, State University of New York, and has a certificate in Early Childhood Development.
Siena completed clinical internships with autistic individuals in university settings, where she facilitated psychoeducational group work. In addition to her experience promoting inclusive neurodiverse environments, Siena aims to increase LGBTQIA+ spaces for students. She believes in Feminist and Narrative approaches to therapy, which encourage personal growth through education, cultural discourse recognition, and the importance of building trusting relationships. During her free time, Siena practices vinyasa yoga and plays the piano.
