A Macaulay Advisor at Baruch, Troy Heffron has spent most of his career engaging students in high-impact, experiential learning opportunities. These include residential life, leadership development, service-learning, study abroad, scholarship advisement, and teaching in classroom settings. Troy also spent two years in the non-profit sector as a program manager and fundraiser for an organization supplying low-income youth with essential items.

Additionally, Troy is a member-owner of his local grocery co-op, an advocate for the fair-trade movement, and an amateur community gardener. Troy looks forward to carrying these values of experiential education, maximizing impact near and far, and sharing community within Macaulay Honors College. Troy holds a master’s degree in applied sociology from the University of Indianapolis, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Central Michigan University.
