Nestled in the corner of E 24 and Lexington Ave is a public square filled with strangely designed benches. These are available to the public for seating all hours of the day, every day of the year. One can assume that the odd design, with seats angled downward is designed as such to deter any passer-byes from laying on these for any prolonged period of time.
