Timesheet management system
Working closely with Brooklyn College Human Resources, CUNY, and unions, we have adapted our own home-grown timesheet management system, developed in the Library to manage timesheets for over 100 CAs, SAs, FWS students, and other part-time workers, to suit the needs of various classifications of internal staff in other units. The system we have designed is extremely easy, and takes a few data points from a fingerprint for login and logout, eliminating the need for punchcards, and eliminating errors such as staff inadvertently punching someone else’s time card. Biometric data is not saved, thus eliminating privacy issues.
