Video Teaching Project

A project designed to promote the use of short instructional videos in courses at Queens College, led by Joseph Cohen (Sociology). Using instructional videos that students can watch on their own before class (a method known as “flipped teaching”) has benefits for both students and instructors, but the process can be daunting, because of training, equipment, and time demands on the instructor. This project explores what it takes to build an affordable college facility to help instructors create instructional videos.
