Afghanistan Kebab House #4

Afghan Kebab House restaurant established itself as the first Afghan restaurant in New York City in 1979 when it originally opened on 9th avenue in Manhattan. While Afghan Kebab serves exclusively Afghani dishes, customers from all over the world come to eat here when they are at Jackson Heights. Once people eat here their first time, they usually keep coming back. Many customers enjoy the traditional Afghan cuisine served. You won’t find another Afghan restaurant like this one in all of New York.
From personal experience, I can tell you that this restaurant is absolutely amazing and deserves all the praise. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for as long as I can remember and it ranks all the way at the top in terms of restaurants.

Here’s an interview with the owner whom was luckily in the restaurant when we walked in:

Some of the dishes served at Afghan Kebab House:

The combo kebab (one of my favorites), which consist of three different kebabs, Lamb Tikka Kebab, Chicken Breast Kebab, and Beef Kofta Kebab. It also comes with Basmati rice, and Afghan bread.

  1. Hi

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience at Afghan Kebab House and the enticing glimpse into their authentic Afghani dishes. Your personal endorsement speaks volumes, and it’s evident that the restaurant holds a special place in your heart. The combo kebab options sound delicious, especially the mix of Lamb Tikka, Chicken Breast, and Beef Kofta.

As a tip, consider trying their Chicken Quorma at home by experimenting with a blend of aromatic herbs and spices for a homemade twist. I’m excited to visit and savor the flavors myself based on your enthusiastic recommendation.

    Best regards,
    Muhammad Mubarak
