Chart- This brief profile of New York City’s Korean American population is based on an analysis of 2000 and 1990 U.S. census data. (http://www.census.gov/)

According to the census data, the majority of the Korean American population is located in the Queens borough. Looking further into the chart, Staten Island is seen to contain a decent population percentage of the ethnic group. Although the island is less known across the city, the population of Koreans in this borough is relatively the same as the Bronx.
