How I Was Able to Relate to Art

Welcome dear visitors!

My name is Nika Kartvelishvili and I am a freshman at Baruch College under the Macaulay Honors Program. This site was inspired by my Arts & Culture of NYC Seminar class, and it draws heavily on my experiences in that class. The site centers on things that define me and how I managed to find them in the various forms of art that I saw throughout the semester. Dear visitors, you should start off by reading the “Where I Live” section and then proceeding to the page “Why Is This Relevant?” You should then take a look at the sections “Nature,” “Beauty and Harmony,” and “Philosophy in Art” in the order that you wish. The “Where I Live” section describes and illustrates some of the things that I enjoy in life and look for in art. The “Why Is This Relevant?” section explains how the first section relates to the other sections. Finally, the sections “Nature,” “Beauty and Harmony,” and “Philosophy in Art” discuss the aspects of art that I focused most on throughout the semester. This site is a work in progress, so don’t be surprised if you notice changes for the better (hopefully not for the worst).
