Experience the Festival

In China, the festival is a national holiday. Surprisingly, all the people I have asked; including family and friends didn’t know that since 2008 Duanwu Jie got everyone in China a day off. ¹

This year, the Dragon Boat Festival falls on a Monday, so if you want to truly experience this holiday, you will need to take a day off from school or work to watch the Dragon Boat race at Flushing Meadow Park.
