Hi! My name is Joseph Langer and I am a Sophomore in Macaulay Honors College. I just got married over the summer (to my high school sweetheart) and am happily settling into my new life. I am majoring in Accounting and am the current treasurer of the Accounting Society at Brooklyn College. I consider myself to be a pretty shy guy and I love to get lost in a good book (my favorite author is Jeffery Archer). I am really looking forward to this class because I care a lot about the environment and the tremendous impact humans have on it.

Hi! I’m Emily Paolillo. After deciding between several majors over the past year at Brooklyn College (some of which include Film, Physics, and TV/Radio), I am now pretty set on becoming a psychology major. I love photography, traveling, and playing music on any instrument I can get my hands on. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, but I also love hiking and skiing, both of which are hard to do here in the city! In my spare time I like to hang out with friends and watch movies on Netflix.

My name’s Jenna, and if I had to describe myself in a word, it would be “wanderlust.” I’m a Macaulay sophomore studying physics education at Brooklyn College; recently, I have thought of getting my B.S. in physics also. I am a passionate supporter of the nonprofit To Write Love On Her Arms, which works to provide those struggling with depression, substance abuse, and suicidal thoughts with a network of support and treatment. I hope to have the opportunity to work with them in the future – if I can ever make it down to Cocoa Beach, Florida to do so.

Hi! My name is Tova. The picture above was taken this past summer in Camp HASC, a camp for children with special needs. I’m the one on the right, and the girl on the left is one of my awesome campers, Stephanie. I love working with children with special needs, and I’m even considered going into special education. At the current moment, I am an accounting major, but that is subject to change.

     My name is Oleksandr Dudnyk but people call me Alex. I am pre-med and I am majoring in Biology. I am most interested in the medical fields of urology and dermatology.  I have an interest in science because it allows us to gain an understanding of the world. I enjoy reading various novels, playing sports and traveling.

Hi! My name is Patricia Lavelle. I am nineteen years old and I have lived in Brooklyn my entire life. I am a Speech Pathology major and possibly a Children Studies minor. I’ve wanted to work as a Speech Pathologist since my brother started receiving speech therapy. I love musicals, vacations, Italian food, and scrap-booking.

Hey, I’m Amy [the one on the right]. I love ice cream, arts and crafts, children and the Mets. My goal is to become a pediatrician and I’m super interested in opening an orphanage, school and/or a safe house for women and children somewhere that really needs it. As of now I’m double majoring in physics and psychology and it’s going pretty well.

My name is Joey DiDonato and  I’m a sophomore in Macaulay at Brooklyn.  I’m originally from Yonkers but moved to Brooklyn last year for school with my friend Matt.  My major is most likely going to be writing with a minor in psychology.
