1924—Immigration Act of 1924
This Act sets quotas for immigration at 2% of the total number of people from that particular country already living in the United States in 1890. The Act excludes people from China, who are still denied entry into the United States; therefore, not even the 2% quota of Chinese immigrants was allowed.
