The Indian immigrant community in New York has established ways to communicate with one other and ways to keep up with entertainment. They have started newspapers, have shows from India they can watch on television, and have movie theaters. Newspapers keep the Indian immigrant community up to date within their community in New York and with India. Television keeps people up to date with cultural happenings; in New York there are television shows that target Indian immigrants. There are television shows that focus on current events as well as films out of Bollywood. Bollywood is an Indian movie making giant, and their films can be viewed in movie theaters in New York. Indian movie theaters in New York show the latest releases out of Bollywood.
