Chinese Lunar New Years 2010: taken from bob2thebone.com

As one of the cultural capitals of the world, it comes as no surprise that New York City has one of the most vibrant and active Chinese communities in America. From the extravagant festivities of Golden Week to the many exhibits at the MOCA, Chinatown is a veritable treasure trove of Chinese American culture. The neighborhoods of 8th Avenue and Flushing are less culturally dense, but are beginning to develop an identity as well.
