From From the Island to the City: Dominican Communities in New York City
Hey! I'm Faraz, and I helped work on this website! I'm a freshman at the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter! I'm really excited to work on this project with some of my friends! For this project, I focused mostly on the educational aspect of the Dominicans living in New York City. Here are some random facts about me!
- I live and breathe the New York Islanders, some might call me a superfan!
- I'm an immigrant myself! I was born in Guyana and moved to Farmingdale, New York in 1993!
- I love playing music! I play bass guitar in two bands, and sing for another!
