Hi, my name is Bonny and I was born in Queens in 1989. I went to Brooklyn Tech and am currently attending Macaulay Honors at Baruch.

This is Bonny :)

These are my paternal grandparents with their seven children. My father is the boy on the left.

My grandparents are from Guangzhao, China and immigrated to New York in 1984. They brought the youngest of their seven children with them, but the rest of the family, including my father, joined them in the city a year later. Soon after my father arrived, he returned to China to marry my mother who immigrated in 1987. Their first home was in Brooklyn, but they moved to my current home a day before my brother was born in 1988. My younger brother was born in 1993 and the gradual loss of Chinese culture is especially noticeable in him because he can barely speak a comprehensible sentence in Chinese.
