Taste of India II on New Dorp Lane.


As we sat down to eat, we noticed the silk flower arrangement juxtaposed against the beautiful traditional Indian décor. It was just one sign of how the owners have managed to find a sense of balance between their culture and our own.

Statue of Ganesh, the elephant-headed Hindu god. We were told the story of how he came to acquire this unique feature, as well as the fact that whenever prayer occurs, Ganesh is always worshiped first.
