From The Peopling of New York City

My favorite memory of Staten Island is South Beach. I love going there during summertime, walking along the boardwalk, and just relaxing and hearing the ocean. In the summer, there are often fairs and carnivals at South Beach. My favorite thing to look at though is the statue of the Dolphins there. I think they are so cute. They make the beach look pleasant and inviting to those driving in the area!
