Juliana Rosentsveyg was born into a Russian-Jewish family in Brooklyn and has lived here her entire life. In high school she was always involved in a number of different volunteer and community activities. In 2006, she gradauted valedictorian of her class and happily accepted a spot in Brooklyn College's combined Bachelor of the Arts and Medical Degree program and the CUNY Honors program. In Brooklyn College, she is a member of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA)and the Hillel Club. Juliana is currently a Biology major and English minor.

Juliana dreams of becoming a prominent doctor and traveling the world helping people after she finishes college. This summer she is interning in the Emergency Room of a hospital in upstate New York. In her free time, Juliana loves to swim, take photographs, listen to music, go camping and be outside, do yoga, and ride her bike. She gladly spends every summer living upstate with her family in a community full of wonderful people and friends. During her time there, she gets the children together and leads them in producing and putting on a play. During the year she teaches martial arts and self-defense classes to children. Juliana loves to be around friendly people, to learn about new people and cultures, and to spend time with her caring friends and family.
