From The Peopling of New York City

Hey! My name is Joshua Pulinat and I intend to be a history and biology major. I am a freshman in Brooklyn College in Class of 2013. I love history because of how learning abut history allows people to understand things that happen today. As people say, "History repeats itself!" In the end I do plan to be a physician when I finish this program and hopefully complete medical school. In my coming at Macaulay, I would like to use my fund to travel abroad and gain experience in my field and beome the best I possible can.

I was born a New Yorker. But it was not so for my parents who immigrated here 4 months before i was born. They sacrificed well paying jobs and their advanced education to raise their children(ME!!!) to have lives better then their's. I am very thankful for their sacrifices because without them I would not be where I am today.
