I live in Brooklyn, the neighborhood around Kings Highway N train station. When people from distant past ask me "Where are you from?", the word "China" is the answer they want. People nowadays, however, expect me to answer "Brooklyn" when they ask me the same question.

I've lived in Guangdong, China for 12 years before moving to Brooklyn, New York.

My Education

Where did you go to elementary, middle and high school? What languages do you speak?

I went to elementary school in China, middle school in David A. Boody, and high school in Brooklyn Technical High School. In addition to English, I speak Cantonese, Mandarin and Hakka.

My Interests in NYC

What cultural interests do you pursue in New York City? What are your favorite places to go in NYC?

I am interested in math team activities, theater, poetry performances, scholar conferences, basketball...etc. My favorite places in NYC are my friend's house, McDonald Park, Times Square, and the Macaulay Building on West 67th Street. I enjoy the performances and scholar conferences in Times Square and in the Macaulay Building. You may also find me playing in the basketball courts of McDonald Park on weekends.
