Your review seemed very anthropological in its discussion about culture and our role in a ever-connected and fast paced world to try to understand the vast cultures, "bridging the gaps between the nations" as you said it. The artworks were good examples of blending of cultures and basically putting one in another's shoes. I really didn't get what the umbilical cord represented until I read your review and how all the different elements of that piece fit together.
