But whichever the case, i agree that this movie could give insight in what the life of a gangster consists of. American Gangster can definitely be one of those movies to explain the true nature of a gangster. If you are interested in knowing more about the nature of gangsters, I suggest you watch the movie "The Untouchables" and you will see Robert DeNiro play the role of Al Capone, which happens to be very well depicted.
