South Jamaica is a neighborhood in the borough of Queens in New York City, New York, United States. It is located south of downtown Jamaica, the Long Island Rail Road tracks and Liberty Avenue, all the way south to Baisley Boulevard. The western border is the Van Wyck Expressway, and it continues in the east towards Merrick Boulevard and the neighboring community of Saint Albans. South Jamaica is part of Queens Community Board 12 and U.S. Congressional District #6
